Raphael Shore is an accomplished filmmaker and the Founder and CEO of Jerusalem U. Raphael produced the original 2010 documentary Crossing the Line: The Intifada Comes to Campus, the award-winning PBS film, Israel Inside: How a Small Nation Makes a Big Difference, and the widely acclaimed film, Beneath the Helmet.
Amy Holtz is the CEO of the Israel-Diaspora Initiative. As former president of Jerusalem U, she grew the organizationto an internationally recognized brand that distributes films in 26 countries and educates thousands of students every year. Previously, Amy co-owned and operated the Party City retail chain, with more than 900 employees and sales in excess of $50 million. Amy serves on Jerusalem U’s Board of Directors.
Shoshana Palatnik is a Film Director and Researcher at Jerusalem U. After visiting Poland on a Holocaust memorial trip, she was inspired to dedicate herself to raising awareness about anti-Semitism. Shoshana was a researcher for the award-winning film, Honor Diaries, and for Crossing the Line: Exploring Israel on Campus (UK Version). Shoshana has a master’s degree in Communication and Culture from York University. She spoke at the Jewish Council for Public Affairs annual conference about the importance of Jewish unity and education. She is currently presenting Crossing the Line 2 at high schools, colleges, community events, JCCs and Federations across the United States.
Yitz Brilliant is an award-winning filmmaker. Yitz holds an M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University’s graduate film program. He has won several awards for his work, including a National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Award, a Student Academy Award nomination, and “Best Film” awards from several film festivals.
